The Richmond People’s Budget (RVAPB) is a participatory budgeting process that puts decision-making power in the hands of Richmond residents. YOU get to decide how to spend $3 million on community projects that matter most.
How It Works:
Submit Ideas – Richmond residents propose community improvement projects.
Develop Projects – Volunteers and city staff refine ideas into feasible projects.
Vote! – From April 1 - 15, 2025, all Richmonders (14+) can vote on which projects get funded.
Fund - See the impact in our communities! We anticipate funding to be provided in the months following the end of voting.
Make your voice heard! Impact your community by sharing an idea, volunteering on a proposal team, or helping to get the word out!
